Corporate Team

Wendy Golter

Wendy

Accounts Payable

Wendy is originally from Wisconsin, and is a proud Packers fan. Her attention to detail, accounting background, and welcoming personality make her a great fit to manage our front desk, greet our customers and cheerfully answer the phone – but first and foremost, dig into her accounting work.

Joining us in April 2015, Wendy has contributed greatly to the Hegenes team showing dedication, grace, respect and care in all of her interactions with others.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and working on her fitness and crafts. After spending many years working as an assistant in a kindergarten classroom, she has found her co-workers are a much harder sell when it comes to cheering on the Packers.

Daniel Kennedy

Daniel

Controller

Dan has been a key player with the Hegenes team since 2007. He is an innovative and driven controller who is dedicated to representing the owner’s best interests while working with excellence and commitment.

Dan strives to learn new ways of doing things and takes on challenges outside of his comfort zone. He leads by example and will roll up his sleeves to get the job done by finding solutions to any and all company problems.

Outside of work, you will find Dan spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys home projects, neighborhood gatherings, taking care of doggies and he especially likes being a jokester.

Kim Robb

Kim

Director of Human Resources

Kim is an invaluable part of our team and has several years of experience in employee management and strategic planning. She joined the Hegenes family in 2009 in Accounts Payable and was promoted to the Human Resources/Payroll position in 2014. She loves all aspects of Human Resources, especially Employee Relations and Benefits and Compensation.

Kim loves learning and regularly attends national training seminars that showcase HR trends, such as self-service technology, wellness, and HRIS tools.

As a strong believer in our mission, “People Serving People”, one of Kim’s accomplishments was building a bridge of communication and relationships between North Dakota and Minnesota employees. She excels in team building, has a committed work ethic, and is an exceptional team player herself.

Kim enjoys weekly game night with her family, volunteering in the community, and trips to the beach. If you are looking for a good laugh, just sneak up behind Kim when she is focused on a project and watch her leap out of her chair, as she is easily startled!

Carrie

Administrative Assistant

Carrie joined the Hegenes team in 2022 with a desire to give back to others. Citing the Hegenes motto of people serving people, Carrie assists the office staff wherever she can.

Coming from a family with 7 siblings, she is perfectly suited to work in a busy, crowded office assisting in a variety of tasks. She is easy-going, friendly and approachable, making her an excellent go-to resource for anyone at Hegenes who needs help with a project.

Though she greatly enjoys being in the office, she would prefer to be out in nature. Walking. Hiking. Ice skating in the winter. If she's not doing any of those things, you'll probably find her reading or baking for the people that she loves.

Teresa Vandwer Galien

Teresa

Property and Business Manager

Teresa serves as a Property and Business Manager and has been with us since 2011. In her property management role, she manages building operations, financial controls, budgets, and facility staff for Hope Academy / Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. In addition, she is our utility player in the corporate office and in efforts to uphold our mission, “people serving people”, she partners with ownership to serve other charitable endeavors that Hegenes supports.

Teresa graduated from the University of MN-Carlson School of Business. Prior to joining Hegenes, she worked for IBM and Cargill in their information technology department, for Westwood Community Church launching a leadership development program, and also stayed at home raising her four children. As “servant leadership” permeates the culture here at Hegenes, it naturally upholds what Teresa’s faith convicts her of… “look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Working at a company that upholds the values that she wants to live out every day, is both satisfying and motivating for her.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling/adventure, NFL football, playing board/card games, live theater, studying the Bible, watching volleyball, walking, biking, and spending time with friends and family. Don’t be surprised if you hear her singing to the tune of a song from the musical Hamilton or see her wearing purple and a Helga hat on Sundays cheering the MN Vikings on to victory… Skol!
